Verband Deutscher Glasbläser e.V.

The organisation Verband Deutscher Glasbläser e.V. (VDG e.V.) was founded as the Vereinigung Deutscher Glasbläser in 1972. The renaming took place in 1998 to stress the business and organization activity.

Nowadays the VDG has 500 members worldwide, is politically independent and serves to protect and to promote the work-related interests of its members.

The VDGN (VDG-Nachrichten) is the official journal. It informs the members in relation to work-related questions such as technical or educational.

The VDG e.V. arranges an advanced education seminar once a year. All have the possibility to take part in presentations or practical demonstrations. Exhibitions of different glass devices, handcrafts, textbooks, machines, tools etc. accompany these seminars.

Members have the possibility to participate in our bulletin board which provides a fast exchange of experience.
